　连读就是前一个单词的尾音与后一个单词的首音紧密连接在一起而形成的读音。连读时的音节一般不重读，只需一带而过即可，不可读的太重。而连读主要分为以下几种形式：

　1.相邻的两个词，前者以辅音音素结尾，后者以元音音素开头，这样需要连读。例如 read it [ri:dit], check it out 等。

　2.相邻的两个词，前者以 r 或 re 结尾，而后者以元音音素开头，则 r 或 re 发[r]，并与后面的单词产生连读。例如 a pair of shoes或 here and there 等。

　3.相邻的两个词，前者以辅音音素结尾，而后者则是半元音，特别是[j]开头，这样需要连读。例如 Thank-you 或 Would you „.等。

　4.相邻的两个词，前者以元音音素结尾，后者也以元音音素开头，这样需要连读。例如 too easy 等。

　5.当英语中的 6 个爆破音(/p/ /b/ /d/ /t/ /g/ /k/)中的任何两个相邻时要连读，前者发不完全爆破音，而后者则需要完全爆破。

　 例如 ho(t) day, chea(p) book 等。

　那在平时的练习中到底应该怎样正确的处理连读问题呢? 多听肯定是最重要的。因为我们平常对英语中出现的连读情况不太熟悉，所以遇到连读时感到有些许不适应。我们可以通过各种渠道去多听英文，而在英语听力练习中去特别注意当中出现连读的情况，
