　　Last week,we made a survey about whether we should support the old men if they fall down.The result is exceeding my expetations.Lets check it out.

　　Twenty five percents of the students believe that they can go to help without any hesitations.Well,almost forty five percents of the students will find a witness to keep company.Twenty percents wont support but call the police for the misunderstanding for themselvels.The left part which is took part of ten percents will depend on different situations.

　　Indeed,the recent news about the old men tricked on accidents are emerging in an endlless stream.However,we cant fear to help.In my view,no matter what happens as a result,I will give out a helping hand.

　　In current days ,with the development of society and economic ,series of social problems are appeared.In order to analyze this phenomenon three universities in Beijing jointly distribute an opinion poll about Should you help the old when he/she falls down on the street.

　　From the result of this survey,we know that 29.6 percent of the people are surveyed think that whether they help the old or not will according to the circumstance.The people who will help the old are the most ,they accounted for 64.8 percent of them.And also have 8.3 percent hold the view that the old shouldnt be help.

　　Why dont they help the old falls down on the street5.3 percent of them are lack of medical knowledge.And 7.2 percent of them think that its not related to them.But the major,87.4 percent of them are afraid of getting themselves into trouble.

　　Through this result,we can see clearly that crisis of confidence between people.Sincere and confidence are replaced by dishonest and hypocritical.Cautious and alert are deeply rooted.

　　In my opinion,we all should help each other.Respect and take good care of the old is the traditional Chinese virtues.When we meet the case,wed better call health care workers for help.Because we lack of medical knowledge may cause more harm to the old.I hope there is less harm and more worm in our life.

　　As is shown in the picture, with rain pouring, an old lady falls down. A passer-by is hesitating over whether to support her with his hand or not.

　　Behind this picture goes a message that some passers-by dont offer to help the old when coming across this situation. They probably fear that they are wrongly accused of knocking them down and even pay compensation.

　　Were I this passer-by, I would do her a favor. Respecting the old is our Chinese traditional virtue. Not only can we bring out the best of our loving hearts and good morals, but we can also live in harmony with each other. Moreover, if we are unwilling to help those in trouble, we might be ignored in time of emergency.

　　The picture illustrates what we are often sorry to see in modem society：an old man is lying on the ground，while the passers-by are all hesitating over whether to offer help or not，fearing that it may incur unwanted trouble.

　　From my perspective，there are two reasons that may account for this phenomenon：on one hand,it is reported that some people wim evil intentions adopt this method to blackmail those friendly and helpful people.So people now are more risk-conscious and wary of such deceits.On the other hand，due to the increasing pressures from modern life and the well.accepted concept that time is money,people tend to care more about themselves than others，not to mention helping a stranger.

　　However,as we all know,being accommodating has always been seen as a virtue in Chinese culture.We should stick to and carry on this fine tradition.Of coursc，we should also look out for potential hazards so as not to be deceived.
